Refund and Returns Policy

At UttarakhandVillage.com, we provide hotel bookings, homestay reservations, and travel-related services. As our services are intangible and time-bound, we follow a no-return policy. Refunds, if any, are processed strictly as per the terms mentioned below.

1. Return Policy

Since we offer booking and reservation services, there is no return or exchange of services once a booking is confirmed.

  • Bookings cannot be returned or exchanged

  • Services already used or partially used are non-returnable

  • Any modification or cancellation depends on the property’s individual policy

We advise customers to carefully review all booking details before confirming payment.

2. Refund Policy

Refunds are subject to the cancellation policy of the hotel, homestay, or service provider.

Refund Eligibility

A refund may be applicable if:

  • The booking is canceled within the allowed cancellation period

  • The booking is marked as Refundable

  • The cancellation request is accepted by the property owner

  • Payment has been successfully received by us

3. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • Cancellation after the permitted time period

  • Bookings marked as Non-Refundable

  • No-show at the property

  • Early check-out or unused services

  • Incorrect booking details provided by the customer

  • Force majeure events (natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, etc.)

4. Refund Process & Timeline

  • Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 working days

  • Refunds are credited to the original payment method

  • Payment gateway charges, service fees, or convenience fees may be non-refundable

5. Payment Failures

In case of:

  • Failed transactions

  • Double payments

The amount will be refunded to the original payment method within 5–7 working days, after verification.

  • We act as a booking platform and facilitator

  • Final refund approval depends on the property owner or service provider

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment gateways, or third parties
